I find the bedroom to be an utterly personal part of the individual. It is comforting to be constantly surrounded with the things that define and inspire us. and there is something alluring about the concept, no?

I am thinking of a "bedroom series." here is the first part, my two black shelves and some of my most loved words.

on the top, my precious collection of journals, started in 1998 and continued thereafter. I was exploratory about notebooks until recently when I found the perfect leather-bound with thick unlined pages (from b&n). it is perfection; i am loyal for life.

on the bottom, a selection of my favorite novels.
